Hastings-based ceramic artist Rachel Karasik explores the possibility of movement through clay, creating kinetic, tactile sculptures, wall hangings and homeware. Inspired by medieval chainmail processes and the fishing beaches where she lives, each piece is made by hand, repeating simple forms to create complex works that become greater than the sum of their parts. Her ceramics are regularly exhibited, including most recently at Future Icons Selects and The Cot Open.
