Freeze Frames

Translated from an original painting by British artist Ian Rayer-Smith, Freeze Frames is an expressive abstract design with sweeping brushstrokes and richly layered colour. Deep indigo and midnight blue blend into softer shades of slate and pale aqua, while bold charcoal marks cut through areas of warm ivory. Touches of rose pink and vivid cobalt bring light and contrast to the composition. Broad, curved gestures overlap with broken marks and delicate traces of colour, creating a fluid movement across the piece. The intricately hand-knotted surface captures the depth and subtle colour transitions of the original painting, preserving its spontaneous energy and the sense of each brushstroke suspended in time.
